A Few Words About Us
We are a young and innovative farmers association determined to uplift our community by focusing on improving the lives of our farmers, initially, in the four Amhara regions of Ethiopia: Gondar, Gojjam, Wello and Shewa. This includes focusing on food security, increased access to tools and equipment, knowledge sharing and the health of our community.
Yotor farmers association was founded in 2019 in Ethiopia. It has received the applicable Ethiopian legal recognition to operate as a non profit organization inline with the Ethiopian law pertaining to the proclamation regulating non-profit organizations. The head quarter is located in Bahir Dar (Kebele 04), capital of the Amhara regional state. The association is formed by volunteer youths from central-western Ethiopia (Gojjam), north-western Ethiopia (mainly Gondar), north-central (Wello) and central Ethiopia (Shewa). However, our operational scope is not limited to the above mention areas. Our aspirational goal is to be in a position to operate throughout Ethiopia in partnership with other organizations and institution in support of our cause.
